Today, I have brought a very exclusive car for you which is coming to India. This is Hyundai's new Palisade and this Hybrid Avtar is coming to India. Isn't this looking absolutely stylish? Just look at this car from the front. You will understand how big and massive it is. So, you get a big front grill here. You also get a camera over here. It definitely comes as level 2. Just look at its headlamp. And the daytime running LED is a lot bigger than the headlamp in terms of size. You also get a connected light here in a sort of way. And your indicator is also massive. Let me tell you one thing, there are 1, 2, 3, and 3 on that side. There are 6 front parking sensors here. From the side profile, this car is quite long in its overall dimensions. And its height is also good. So, if you want a road presence SUV, this could possibly be that. Now, I would like to ask you a question. Do you do as much research for car loans as you do for buying a car? Because we generally look at competitive interest rates. But apart from that, you also get a lot of other benefits. Maybe 19-20 inches in terms of tyre profile. Here, it's 21 inches. We're expecting close to 19-20. It can be a 21 also. But 19-20 is more suitable for Indian conditions. Here, you have an indicator on the mirror. There's a camera on the mirror. Plus, if you look here, you have an ADAS hazard. The door handles are quite big and chunky. Plus, there's a passive entry point here. The roof rails are big and chunky. So, it's not just big in size, but they've tried to make it big in every element. When we look at the overall rear styling of this car, it looks really nice and butch overall. The taillamps are also given in the same long pattern. One more thing, they've given a matte finish of brushed aluminium which looks good and premium. And here, you get a huge spoiler. And at the back, you don't have one but two cameras. So, now let's open the boot and show you the overall space. It's good enough overall. There's no concern in terms of overall space at the back. Plus, you can fold your seats completely by just pressing this button. All your seats will fold and you can adjust the 2nd and 3rd row. Making it a flat storage space for you. Absolutely flat. Can you see this? This is absolutely flat. So, you can easily carry a lot of stuff. Isn't this absolutely cool? Now, we're inside the Hyundai Palisade. First, let me show you the overall insulation of this car. So, I'll open the door for you. It's very low. So, it just feels nice and well insulated on the inside. So, if we look at the dashboard, it looks unlike any other Hyundai car. It's quite big. Most elements, if you look here, they are soft-touch. They're not like the softest, but they're nice. Soft-touch elements are given to you. The fit and finish looks very good. Let's look at each and every element of the car one by one. So, let's start with the steering wheel. This is unlike any Hyundai we've seen so far. On the left side, you get controls for your cruise. And on the right side, you get controls for your music. There are paddle shifters at the back. Of course, there's a stalk. And if you want to start the car, you can move the gear lever down here. Which makes it quite convenient because it completely frees up the center console. If we look at the overall quality of the touchscreen, it is very nice. You get a lot of features here. So, for example, you get seat adjustment. There's ventilation in the second and third row seats. You can adjust all the seats from here. You can fold the third row seats also from here, which is quite a nice feature. Plus, if you have a hybrid car, you get hybrid elements here. I'm showing you the entire details over here. Now, if we move upwards, you have a regular mirror here. And you can see a rear mirror, which can be used pretty neatly. Here, you have all the controls. Shortcut buttons. Below, you have AC controls. You also get heating on the steering wheel, which is probably not available in India. And you also get heating and ventilation here. Plus, you have storage underneath here, which we'll come to at a later stage. But here, you have UVC. If you press this and activate it, you can actually put your smartphone here and get it sanitized. Whatever phone, pad, whatever you want to keep, you can sanitize everything that you can keep here. Isn't that really cool as a feature? Type-C charging port. Two more Type-C charging ports with 100W. It's going to be very fast. You have a wireless charging pad, two cupholders of a large size. So, there's a lot of storage space. Oh, wait. And there's a fingerprint sensor here. So, once you touch on it, and once you have activated it, your profiles, your music, everything will get activated here. And before I show you the space, let me tell you that Bose speakers are provided here. Okay, look at this now. You have storage space here. There's a 12V charging point here. I don't know what is this space about. What can you keep here? It has got a fall-off, I feel. Plus, let's look at the seats. The seats are of very good quality. It feels very premium and bolstered. You have good, firm seats here. And these seats are electrically adjustable. Ventilation and heating both come here. Plus, there's a Boss function as well. Okay, let me show you the glovebox. Not the biggest, but okay in size. And there's storage space here as well, a small one for your smartphone. You'll notice that there's ambient light here as well, but it's very nice and subtle in place. Apart from that, there's a sunroof on top, but a small one. But there's a big sunroof at the back, with AC vents on this side, so that's why there's a space in between. But your cabin will cool a lot faster with this. There's another cool feature in the Palisade, which is lying down. So if you press this button, and leave it, this will turn into a complete lying down option for you. So your recline is increasing, and this seat is also being raised. Plus, you also have an option, if you want, you can further extend your thigh support like this, and just pull your seat back. And you can completely lie down like this. So you have a lying mode here, a driver's seat, and at the back, we'll show you the rear feature as well. In the second room of the Palisade, you have a lot of good features. Knee room is good enough, thigh support is decent enough here, the headroom is good as well, and you also have AC vents on the top itself, plus there's a heating & ventilation feature as well. Let's come down here, you have a Type C charging port, which is 100W, which is absolutely fast, it's on both sides. And here, there's a drawer storage underneath, plus, both your seats are electrically adjustable, plus there's a relaxation button here, to use that also is quite easy. Plus, if you come here, I'll show you two more things. First, you have a sunblind, and if you're going to open the door, you'll see a symbol here. So if a car is coming from behind, it'll give you a warning, and won't let you open the door. Isn't that really cool? And there's a cup & phone holder in the door pad. It's quite convenient to go to the third row, you just have to press this button once, and look, it's moving forward, it's much faster than most electronic ones working, and it moved forward quite easily. And from here, you can easily enter the third row. Now if we come to the third row, and show you the overall space, so let me first shut the door, press this button, and the seat will come back. Overall, two people can sit here, plus, if you notice, there's a lot of space here, in terms of width. The thigh support is not that great, but yes, I can sit for 2-4 hours comfortably, and I can move the front seat a little further, but still, I don't have a lot of thigh support. However, I can still say, it is not a bad third row comparatively. The headroom is okay, as you can see, overall, and on top, you have AC vents, plus, you have an electric seat adjustment here, so you can open and close it, and you can also move it back and forth, so if I take this seat back, right now, see, my knee room has gone up, if you see, my knee room has increased a lot, earlier, my knee room was like this, now my knee room has increased, plus, these rear seats are heated as well, which is not that useful for India, you have a heating control, this seat can be moved back and forth, you have an option to increase the recline, plus, you have a type C charger here, 100 Watt again. Two cup holders are available here. So you get a lot of space inside the car, which is nice, comfortable, spacious. If you use the entire seat, but your boot space is a little less in that situation. Alright, so now we have come into the Hyundai Palisade and we have started driving the car. This is going to be a very small drive here. We'll try to get you a bigger drive at a later stage. But there is one thing, you are sitting quite high compared to any other Hyundai. Like we sit in the Santa Fe, but we don't sit that high. So this is a lot more higher comparatively. And press the accelerator and it pulls smoothly. So because it has a hybrid tech and at the end of the day it has an electric motor, because of this, you will notice one thing, that sudden power definitely comes here. When I drive it with the speed breakers, you will notice that it is quite easy to drive. So even on bad roads, it gives a good ride quality. Because of this, if you push the car more on bad roads, you won't feel the potholes too much. Now see, I go through a single pothole, I didn't feel it at all. Because it has big tyres, it's a lot bigger as a car, so because of this, its suspension works quite well overall. And when I drive it in the city, through tighter lanes, they are making us drive it on a closed road. So because of this, it's not that difficult to judge this car. It is quite easy to get that. It will take some time for the first time, but after that, it is going to be a smooth process. And in fact, if I raise the seat completely, you feel a good height. Now yes, if I compare it with the Fortuner, we don't sit that high. But comparatively, compared to other Hyundai cars, we sit quite high here. So overall, it's just nice and convenient to drive. And the SUV feel that we want from cars, we get that here with a good performance also. So this is the advantage of a hybrid, when you get 330bhp power and you also have good fuel efficiency, then what can be better than that? And this is what you get complete in this car. I think other cars, like diesel, give you good torque. In this, because of the electric motor, you get the extra torque, the sudden boost that you need, here. And because of that, your overall drive pleasure will be good in the car. Now unfortunately, I am driving on a very small track area, because of which I can't really go and do multiple things. But let me tell you one thing that driving this car is very convenient and it's quite comfortable also. And I have taken a U-turn at a tight spot. And I have taken a U-turn at a tight spot. So we have not had any struggle with that also. So this is going to come to India. It is going to be very exciting when it comes to India. And this time, it will be launched by localizing it.
